Oak cubes, also known as "oak beans", allow wine makers and brewers to impart oak flavor and aroma to wines and beers.
Medium toast Hungarian oak cubes add tones of pronounced vanilla and background notes of bittersweet chocolate, roast coffee, leather, and black pepper.
Usage: 2-1/2 to 3 ounces per five gallons.
Vessel: Can be added during fermentation or aging. Add directly to carboy, plastic bucket, or barrel.

Time period: 2 months minimum. 3+ months for best results
