Jaybird False Bottom Stand

5" diameter false bottom stand specifically designed for 15" Jaybird false bottoms used with CONVERTED 15" DIAMETER KEGS.
Stand is 1-3/8" tall, and sits over the bottom of keg. Top of stand covered in same 304 stainless material as Jaybird false bottoms with dip tube hole drilled in center.
TWO USES IN ONE:
IN A MASH TUN: Supports the extra grain weight of those REALLY BIG beers! 2 LEVELS OF FILTRATION: Level 1: Helps prevent grain bits that fall through the outer edges of the false bottom from traveling to the center and clogging the dip tube. Level 2: Additional filtration screen under center part of false bottom and around dip tube.
IN A BOIL KETTLE: Since there isn't much solid weight above the false bottom you don't really need a stand. However, provides 2 LEVELS OF FILTRATION: Level 1: Helps prevent hop debris, fruit peels, and other adjuncts that fall through the outer edges of the false bottom from traveling to the center and clogging the dip tube. Level 2: Additional filtration screen under center part of false bottom and around dip tube.
IF YOU ARE BOTTOM DRAINING: You are not using a dip tube. Use the drop-down menu to select “no dip tube hole”.
Will not work with any other sized false bottom, because it would be too tall and the false bottom will not snuggle into the bottom curve of the keg properly.
