Silicone gasket provides liquid and air-tight seal.

Threaded for NPT Female connection on outside of jar, opening up a whole world of connection possibilities!

Threads directly to the bottom of Ss Brewtech non-BrewMaster series of fermenters!

Inside of nipple is smooth (no threads).

Yes, you can flip the lid upside down and have the nipple extend INTO the jar if you want.
